The Development Fund exists to protect the long term viability of the club. The club needs to prepare now to ensure the club has a long-term future and the ability to save lives for many generations to come. The fund invests in assets (e.g. shares) to support future expenses that meet the club's strategic priorities (e.g. clubhouse replacement). The Development Fund bank account and investments are managed by a Development Fund Board that consists of:

The current Secretary of the Association (Christian Born);
A Life Governor elected by the members (John Thompson);
A Life Member elected by the members (Georgie Wettenhall);
Two other members of the Association (of any class) elected by the members (Neil Hannan and Andrew Crow).
