Club President
The Club President is the principal leader of the club and has overall responsibility for its administration.
Vice-President
The core roles of the club vice president are to support the activities of the club president and to oversee the activities of the Sustainability Committee.
Admin & Finance
Club financial accounts are not complicated, so you don’t have to be an accountant to be a surf club treasurer.
Club Secretary
The core roles of the club secretary are to provide the coordinating link between members, the committee, and external agencies and to manage day to day administrative activities of the club.
Life Saving Services
The Club Captain is the operational leader within the club. There are heaps of positions available that include IRB captains, First Aid Officer and Gear Stewards.
Member Development & Grant Applications
Member development programs begin on a club level and are also conducted at branch, state and national levels such as chief instructor and grant application positions.
Competition
The director of compeition is responsible for effectively managing the administrative and operational needs of our surf teams.
Leadership Development
A team focused on expanding the capacity of individuals to perform in leadership roles within Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club.
Communications & Merchandise
There are positions available in club related marketing, communications, Bass Coast Series events, merchandise, graphic design, and public relations.
Assets
Looks after the condition of the clubhouse and external facilities including Smith’s Beach Rescue Base, and club residence.
Junior Development - nippers!
The director of Junior Development oversees the nippers! program to develop their surf lifesaving and sport skills, by providing fun, safe and organised nipper activities.
