Our clubs Annual General Meeting will be held at 10:30am on Sunday 30th July 2023 at Woolamai Beach SLSC.

Lifesaving Services Seasonal Recruitment Now Open!
Applications are now open for the following Lifesaving Services for the 2022/23 Season:
Paid Beach Lifeguards
RWC Operators (Paid & Volunteer)
RPAS (Drone) Pilots (Paid & Volunteer)
LSV Comms (Paid)
When applying, make sure you check the prerequisite awards. You can check your awards from Members Area by going to Memberships > Awards.
Please read the circular for more information including requisites and specific award requirements.
**Please note awards must be obtained prior to the listed cut-off date for applications to be progressed

Casual employment opportunities exist for energetic and passionate individuals to educate participants in LSV’s lifesaving education programs.
Positions Available:
Education Program Instructor - Lifesaving education programs at open water venues
Education Program Team Leader - Lifesaving education programs at open water venues
Education Program Leader - Lifesaving education programs at schools (incl. virtual excursions) and community activations at events.
Diversity & Inclusion Program Instructor - Diversity and inclusion education programs

Bronze/SRC Course Registrations
We are very excited to announce the Bronze Camp and SRC Course Dates for the 2023/24 season!
Registrations for both courses will open on July 15th. To register, please go to the relevant link and follow the instructions carefully.

2023 Bronze Camp - Leader Applications
Good Evening Members
We are pleased to advise that applications to join the Woolamai Beach ~ Bronze Training Team for the 2023/24 season are now open!
The Bronze Medallion Camp is one of our most highly professional camps we run each season. Members who are chosen will undergo a training weekend, to ensure that you are up to date with course materials, course timetable and course activities throughout the week. To be considered as a Leader, members MUST be able to attend the Leadership Workshop as outlined in the PDF.
With limited positions available, selection will be based on lifesaving experience and awards/qualifications held (in particular the TOC award). The members selected will also be held at a high standard throughout the entire camp.
If you are interesting in assisting but do not have the necessary qualifications, please do not be discourage from applying as opportunities may arise elsewhere in future courses.

Date: 10th December - 17th December 2023

Rescue Watercraft Operator - Gippsland EOI
Life Saving Victoria is now inviting applications from members who wish to attain the Rescue Watercraft (RWC) Certificate.
LSV is wishing to increase in service capabilities within the RWC Space in Gippsland.
Date: 21st, 22nd and 28th, 29th of October
Location: Lakes Entrance
Type: Weekend
Expectations Applicants must be available across all four training days to be eligible for the course and complete an online theory component prior to the session.
LSV will cover lunch and snacks for the day however further meals and accommodation will be at the candidate’s expense.
RWC Operator Course EOI Applications close: Sunday July 30th, 2023.
Communications Roles - Join the team!
The communications portfolio is looking for managers to join this wonderful team for the 2023/24 season. This is a great way for up and coming members or experienced members or professionals to get involved and help present our club both internally and externally!
The positions we have available include.
Social media manager:
Responsible for the clubs external output on social media. Creating content to post to the public on our various channels.
Publications and website manager:
Assisting and creating newsletters and communication to club members and the public and/or keeping the website up to date and looking for areas to build upon.
Sponsorship manager:
Working with various other areas of the club to go after sponsorship opportunities within the community.
Special events digital marketing manager:
Helping out with website, email, and social media communication for the Bass Coast Series events.
Merchandise helper:
Assist with merchandise throughout the season. Can be as little as helping out for stalls or as amazing as organising new merchandise orders and creative direction within the club.
