A little bit about the company. We aim to provide your function with a delicious and memorable experience for your guests.
We recommend two or three types of paella to choose from to cover all of your guests dietary requirements:
Sustainable Seafood
Chicken & Chorizo
Vegetarian/Vegan.
Our Paellas are made with the freshest and highest quality of produce including fresh boneless chicken, high quality authentic mild chorizo, and fresh seasonal vegetables. We do not compromise on quality or abundance. The paellas are cooked 100% from scratch right in front of all your guests and we feel they have the finest flavours of any paella in Melbourne. Your guests will enjoy watching the visual display, the cooking technique, the aromas, and eventually the delicious main course.
Dietary requirements - no problem! Paella is 100% gluten free, dairy free, nut free, healthy, and absolutely delicious! Our vegetarian paella is also suitable for vegans.

Christmas Eve Patrol
Hi All Woolamai Members,
Woolamai are seeking expression’s of interest to put on a patrol on Christmas Eve the 24th of December from 1-5pm in-line with what LSV have asked of us.
If any members or lifeguards are available to volunteer their time on this day, the club, LSV and I will be grateful.
This year Christmas Eve falls on a Saturday and so we expect a few beach goers to attend our beach. Christmas Eve is also notorious for drownings so it will good for us to make an effort to put on a patrol. If anyone is available, please get in contact with me via Facebook or mobile and we can put together a patrol. I am appreciative of the fact it is a very busy time of year.
Thank-you, and Merry Christmas!!

Dune Works
Phillip Island Nature Parks contractors are carrying out sand clearing works around the Clubhouse between now and Christmas.
During these works please do not walk or park near the machinery.
Please limit your access to the beach to via the ramp and designated tracks and do not enter dunes around Clubhouse.
Sand is being removed from Clubhouse surrounds ahead of proposed works to build a retaining wall and stabilise dunes. It is extremely important that members do not destabilise dunes or their vegetation.
If members of the public are seen walking or playing in the dunes or leaving the track, please politely ask them to return to the designated tracks.
Thanks,
Woolamai Beach Board

VALE: Daryl ‘Mufti’ Major: 14/04/1950 – 14/12/2022:
Funeral: 5.00pm: Friday 23rd December: Phillip Island Football & Netball Club
Daryl Major gained his Bronze Medallion as a fit, young twenty-year-old in December of 1970 in a two-man Squad alongside Ron Kerpen, and from that moment on he became a keen and committed Club Member at Wooli. Always a softly spoken gentleman he has been popular and respected by those who were involved with him on the beach or when he took up several official roles within the club.
In 1972 he put up his hand to take on the position of Club Secretary and then in 1978 & ’79 he spent two years in the position of Club Treasurer. After a stint of employment with our Life Governor, John Thomson, he started working with the Wonthaggi Council and became a resident and permanent Islander where he has lived since the seventies.
Mufti also made his mark with the Phillip Island Football Club and in 1977 he took out their Senior B & F Award while playing alongside other clubbies, including Pete Lawry. For the past twenty years he has regularly featured in the local newspaper, the Advertiser, as the star lawn bowler and several times Club Champion at the Cowes Bowling Club. He was at his beloved bowling club with his wife Polly when he suddenly collapsed and was unable to be revived.
We remember him fondly as a great WBSLSC Member with many friends from our club and as someone who always became involved and ‘gave back’ to the community ‘without fuss or fanfare’.
Our condolences to Daryl’s wife, Polly, and his extended family.
Bronze Medallion: 12.12.1970
WBSLSC Secretary: 1972/73
WBSLSC Treasurer: 1978/79 & 1979/80
