Islanders Annual Hawaiian Presentation Night!
On Sunday the 10th of March islanders will hold their annual Hawaiian presentation night.
The night will be full of Hawaiian style games music and awards There will be a spit dinner and of course the famous slushy machine

Lifesaving Victoria are hosting their International Women's Day Breakfast on Wednesday the 6th of March.

Rescue Watercraft EOI - April
As part of LSV’s ongoing commitment to the development of the Rescue Water Craft (RWC) Service, we are now welcoming applications from suitably qualified and proficient lifesavers.
The RWC service operates across Victoria at nine different sites to provide adequate patrolling and response to Victoria’s coastline. As an RWC operator ,you will be expected to complete rostered shifts, attend training sessions, state/area briefings, skills maintenance sessions and maintain minimum pre – requisite awards.
LSV will be conducting one course with only 12 positions available.

Weekend delivery
Dates: 20, 21, 27, 28 April 2024

Smiths Beach Rescue Base Repairs - Donations needed
Unfortunately since it’s inception the Smiths beach tower has been stripped down by the harsh weather conditions from the beach.
The rescue base is need of urgent repairs and maintenance (including re-painting in oil-rig spec paint) in order to avoid Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) issues / the structure becoming condemned; and to ensure that the two structures can continue serving the Phillip Island Nature Park (PINP) / Bass Coast Shire Council (BCSC) residents and visitors and Life Saving Victoria (LSV) lifeguard service over the next 20-25 years.
The required works includes
Wall panel works
Stair removal and replacement
Insitu painting works
