New Leadership Program (AGE 18-30) – applications now open
Applications are now open for the LSV’s new 18-30 leadership program, Leadership Beyond the Flags. Life Saving Victoria is excited to launch a new leadership development opportunity for our members aged 18 - 30.
This program has been codesigned with our 18 – 30 members through the M&LD senior development panel and aims to enhance our emerging leaders with the skills and knowledge to support members' thriving in current and future roles.
This program has been identified by both clubs and the M&LD Council executive as a key need for our members: to retain talented members within the lifesaving movement and provide opportunities for continuous growth.
This program aims to upskill, develop, and engage our volunteer workforce by focusing on four key pillars;
Understanding yourself as a leader,
Leading others,
All things communication, and
Managing yourself.
Leadership beyond the flags will be delivered as an intensive two-day live-in weekend at Melbourne Business School from Saturday, August 31, to Sunday, September 1, 2024. Participants will be required to complete a development questionnaire before the program begins.
Program Details and Cost
When: Saturday, August 31 (10am TBC) - Sunday, September 1 (3:30pm TBC)
Location: Melbourne Business School, Carlton (onsite accommodation)
Cost: The cost for the program is $550 per participant (inc. GST). Cost includes all sessions, materials, accommodation, and meals.
