Lifesaving Services Team Announced!

We are excited to announce our Lifesaving Services Team for the 2023/24 season!

In the coming months, our LS Leaders will come together for an intensive weekend workshop to ensure they are all prepared and well equip to lead their patrol teams.

To continue keeping our members engaged, every active member from last season will get a phone call from our leaders to see how you are travelling and to give you all the information you need for the upcoming season.

If you have any questions or concerns leading up to the patrolling season, please contact your relevant Patrol or Vice Patrol Captain.

Beach Equipment Officer - Positions VACANT

We are still seeking 2 members to join our Lifesaving Equipment Team.

Working closely with the lifesaving equipment coordinator (BOO THANG), the Beach Equipment Officer is responsible for the club’s life saving operational equipment, ensuring the equipment is maintained and operational throughout the season.

Dear Members

An Audit of all club members awards from the 2022/23 season has begun as we look to start planning our 2023/24 training courses and skills maintenance sessions.

If you have completed the following awards, you will expect an email from training@woolamaibeach.asn.au stating your qualicitaiton status.

Resuscitation (CPR) - HLTAID009
First Aid (FA) - HLTAID011
Advanced Resuscitation Techniques (ART) - HLTAID015

The below tables shows how often you need to conduct a new course.

Skills Maintenance

This years Skill Maintenance weekend will be finailised by 15th September. Members who hold the ART qualification will need to ensure both CPR and ART are current before attending skills maintenance.
