I feel honoured to have been given another opportunity to lead you all this year. Woolamai is a very special place, it’s built on friendship, loyalty and support. It’s a place you come to make new friends and catch up with old friends. For some of us this stretches over decades.

However, the biggest thing for us as a lifesaving team is that we have taken on these challenges together and overcome them.
Read MoreThis year has been a massive year for the club in regards to training and member development, we have put through one of the largest numbers of bronze medallion candidates in the clubs history, we have run numerous surf rescue certificate, basic life support, resuscitation, first aid, advanced resuscitation techniques, spinal management and inflatable rescue boats courses.
Read MoreWe have put together a terrific beach program, added life saving awards, introduced a bursary and inclusion program, developed a strong competition team, put on lots of great social events, run bbqs, raffles, set up a first aid tent, set up rosters for parents to help, introduced rash vests, provided Nippers bags and water bottles, created merchandise, sponsorships, renewed equipment, and raised a few $ for the club along the way.
