The impact of COVID-19 is forcing organizations from all fields and industries to reconsider their all-important events in 2020, and ours is no exception. Please find below our update regarding the 2020/21 season.

Memberships
Due to the current Covid-19 situation and the impact that this may have on some of our member’s financial situations, the Board of Woolamai Beach SLSC will be providing the following membership options for the upcoming 2020/21 season:

Donate to cover another member fee
Pay half your annual membership
Unable to pay a membership fee

Patrol leadership applications opening early/ mid-September for 2020/21 season.
Vacant PC & VPC positions will be advertised on the members of Woolamai Facebook group with an online application process.
Surf Rescue Certificate, Adult Bronze and Bronze Medallion Camp Courses
All courses are paused until further instructions from Life Saving Victoria. Planning for upcoming courses will continue and expression of interest forms are still available here:

Nippers!
We had previously published that registrations for Nippers season 2020/21 would open on Monday 10 August 2020 @ 7:00 pm, however, this did not take place.
With the COVID-19 situation changing week to week, it is hard to provide any definite information regarding what will happen with Nippers this season.
We are currently working through options with Life Saving Victoria and will update members once we are in a position to confirm plans.
