Volunteering |
The Wooloomai SLSC is run by volunteers, and our Nipper program relies on parents taking on roles to make the program happen. A requirement of participation is that at least one parent/guardian from each family contributes through a volunteer role. Our experience is that the more you get involved, the more your child will enjoy Nippers – and the more fun you will have. Roles range from low involvement through to high involvement so there will be a role that all families can contribute to, in order to ensure a smooth and enjoyable program for all with a ‘many hands make light work’ mentality. When you complete your registration form you will be asked to select the role(s) you can commit to. Volunteer roles include: Also, stay tuned to the Wooli Nippers Facebook Group for additional shoutouts for specific support and skills. |
Nippers rash vests |
All children participating in the Nippers program must wear a high visibility nipper rashies while on the Beach. This season the Nippers rashie’s are not available to pre-purchase. If you don’t have a Nippers rashie or need a new one, they will be available for purchased on 28 December 2024, from Woolamai Beach SLSC Clubhouse between 2-5pm. There will also be a limited stock of second hand rashies for sale. If you have any old Woolamai rashie/s you would like to donate, please bring them along! |
