Welcome to Nippers 2024/25
A very warm welcome to all the new families who are participating in the program for the first time this season and also to our returning families who are back for another season.
The Nippers committee and club volunteers have been working hard to get things ready. The 2024/25 is set to be another bumper year with just under 400 Nippers participating in the program.
We look forward to seeing you out on the beach and at the Nippers social events this summer.
Program information

| Nippers 2024/25 program | The 2024/25 program will run from Sunday 29 December 2024 to Sunday 5 January 2025 inclusive, with a rest day on New Year’s Day (Wednesday 1 January 2025). |
| Age groups, locations and session times | Session time confirmation emails have been sent to all registering parents or guardians. Please check your junk folder before contacting nippers admin if you have not received it. General information on all age group session can be found on the Nippers Season 2024/25 webpage. |
| Rash vests and broad brimmed hats | To participate in the program, all children must wear a Woolamai Beach SLSC high visibility rash vest and a broad brimmed hat. Please note the Nippers handbook mentions rash vest presales. There were no presales for the 2024/25 Season. Apologies for any confusion. Rash vests can be purchased from our amazing volunteers at the Nippers rashie sale, between 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Saturday 28 December 2024. Sales are in the bar area on the upper level of the Woolamai Beach SLSC Clubhouse, end of Woolamai Beach Rd, Cape Woolamai. Sales will be electronic only (no cash). If you cannot come to the rash vest sale on Sat 28 December they will be available for sale at Cleeland Beach. Please allow additional time to purchase a rashie before the start of your Nippers session. There will also be a limited stock of second hand rashies for sale. If you have any old Woolamai rashie/s you would like to donate, please bring them along! |
| Communication about the Nippers program | The private Wooli Nippers Facebook Group is the primary way we will communicate with you during the program. If you are not already a group member, please see the information below on how to join the Wooli Nippers Facebook Group. |
| Volunteering | The Nippers program is organised and run by volunteers, and we need the support of all families to help make it happen. All volunteer 'rosters' have been emailed from Penelope Large this week. Can all parents please check their emails and make sure they have taken note of their volunteer times. Make sure you check the Junk Folder just in case it has landed there. Thank you all for the support you will offer the Nippers program, many hands make light work and give us all opportunities to get to know other families and build great relationships. |
| Club Merchandise | We sell a limited range of club merchandise to our members. Our merchandise is a great way to show you’re a part of and supporting Woolamai Beach SLSC. It’s available at the Nippers rashie sale (28 December 2-5pm) and at the Cleeland Beach Nippers program (Friday 29 December – Friday 5 January). Sales will be electronic only (no cash). The Wooli Nippers Facebook Group is a private group for those participating in the Nippers Program. The Group is the main way we will communicate with you throughout the Program and across the year.
