That’s a wrap – Congratulations and thank you to all the Nippers for your participation in the Wooli Nippers 2024/25 Program.
Special thanks to the parents, guardians, and family members who volunteered across the program, carrying out the myriad of activities and tasks that kept the program running and supported its success. The volunteer-run Wooli Nippers relies on parents and guardians taking on roles to make the program happen.
2024/25 Nippers Program survey

The survey is anonymous and will remain open until the end of January 2025. If you have feedback that you would like to receive a response to please email the Woolamai SLSC Nippers Admin.
Club Championships
The Woolamai Beach SLSC Championships will be held this Saturday, 11 January. Details have been posted via the Facebook group. Please respond to the Club Championship post to register your participation.
Water and some beach events will be held at Cleeland Bight Beach, please arrive at 9.30 to help set up. On completion, participants will head over to the Woolamai clubhouse for the longer-running events and relays with youth and senior members.
Little Penguin Dash
The ‘Little Penguin Dash’ is a nearshore kids aquathon for 7-14 year olds, run as part of the annual Bass Coast Series. It is a great Phillip Island community event and a wonderful way to use the skills gained through Nippers. All funds raised support the Woolamai Beach SLSC & Phillip Island Football and Netball Club. Little Penguin Dash Details
Date: Saturday 8 February, 10.00 am
Location: Cowes Beach
Race Centre: Opposite North Pier Hotel 8.30 am-9.30 am
Registration fee: $45, includes race entry, t-shirt and race medallion
Nippers discount: All Nippers family and friends receive a $10 discount when using the code NIPPER in your online registration
Program volunteer thank you
Nippers wouldn't happen without the support of parents and guardians. However, there is also a dedicated crew of volunteers who go above and beyond to put the program on. We would like to acknowledge and thank the following volunteers.
Our Junior Age Managers (JAMs), Age Managers (AMs), Assistant Age Managers (AAM), and water safety crew—the program could not run without you.
