Bass Coast Series Update - Help Required!

Over the next few weeks, the club will be running both the Cowes Classic, in conjunction with PIFNC, as well as the rescheduled San Remo Channel Challenge.

Both events are major fundraisers for the club and as expected, it takes a small army to make these events run smoothly.

We still require volunteers to help out with both events.

How to help out?

To help with water safety or first aid, please comment on the posts in the members facebook page or email max_eldridge@hotmail.com

To help out in the race centre please get in contact with Ron Nicholson ron@fullhousegroup.com.au

Don’t feel like helping out this year? Get involved and sign up to compete with all your friends and family. Despite some setbacks, we’re hoping to make this the biggest year yet! Register now - https://www.basscoastseries.com.au/

Pink Zinc Patrol

What is Pink Patrol?

Pink Patrol consists of active female patrolling members and male champions, celebrating the contribution of girls and women to lifesaving through a designated patrol.

The powerful visual of female leaders and male champions forming a full patrol, is symbolic of the growth and capability of our female members; illustrating that females are competent lifesavers and building the diversity of lifesavers in active lifesaving roles and leadership.

This event will help raise awareness about the various roles and opportunities available to women in lifesaving, helping to empower females to build their operational capability and capacity.

The aim of this initiative is to acknowledge and celebrate the many contributions women past and present have played in lifesaving. It is hoped the positive role modelling will inspire and empower future generations of women and girls to confidently pursue opportunities in lifesaving and aquatics.

All members are invited to get involved and support our club’s 12th Pink Patrol, which will be taking place on the 19th February 2023!
