2022 Advanced Lifesaving Camp - Applications closing!

Life Saving Victoria (LSV) is now inviting Applications from members who wish to attend the 2022 Advanced Lifesaving Camp.

The aim of the Advanced Lifesaving Camp is to enhance the training and development of Gold Medallion Lifesavers and Lifeguard recruits, with a strong focus on high performance and practical learning within both open water and inland waterways.

Tip: Those wishing to gain first time employment as a seasonal lifeguard and/or event lifeguard for the 2022/2023 lifeguard period are strongly encouraged to attend the camp and attain the necessary advanced training and qualifications.

CAMP 1 - EAST
DATES: Monday 19th September – Friday 23rd September 2022
LOCATION: Phillip Island Adventure Resort
COST: $500

CAMP 2 - WEST
DATES: Monday 26th September – Friday 30th September 2022
LOCATION: Angahook Holiday Camp, Aireys Inlet
COST: $500

CAMP PRE-REQUISITES:

Minimum age is 17 years as of the first date of the camp
Must be proficient and current in the following;
- Bronze Medallion
- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001) or (HLTAID009)
- Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) or HLTAID011)
- Provide Advanced Resuscitation (HLTAID007) or (HLTAID015)

Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Service (WLRHS) – Recruitment Advice and EOI
