Season Launch!
After many months of lockdown and Winter, Summer is finally almost upon us!
Even better, our members are returning to Woolamai with patrols kicking off this weekend!
Come join Punchy’s Penguins this weekend
Saturday: 1:00pm - 4:30pm (arrive by 12:30 for setup)
Sunday: 10:30am - 4:30pm
Rumour has it that there’ll be a Karaoke night this Saturday for the season launch!
Test out your vocals and entertainment skills to start the season in style!
Water Safety Month
This year, the Play it Safe by the Water committee are taking Victoria’s annual Water Safety Week one step further!
Starting 1 December, LSV will be beginning our Water Safety Month campaign, with the aim to spread awareness and educate Victorians of the aquatic related risks this summer.
Water Safety Month is all about taking the time to RETHINK the risks around water this summer. While we encourage everyone to enjoy the water this season, we want you to be aware of the risks for both yourself and your loved ones.

Swim CIty
Life Saving Victoria has just launched Swim City an exciting online adventure teaching Victorian children how to stay safe around water using gamification.
Primary-aged students can jump online and meet Finn, Pod and Splash, and explore their favourite water environments while learning about water safety.
Parents also have the chance to win one of five $100 Coles Myer gift cards once their children have taken part.
To enter, simply head to LSV’s Facebook or Instagram post and tell us your child's favourite Swim City waterway and what they learnt while playing the game in the comments below.
Don’t forget to tag parents or guardians of children who've missed out on swimming and water safety education during the past two years and would benefit from experiencing Swim City!
