Clubhouse refurbishment update
Life member Alan McLean and Facilities Director Michael Turner with the help of Rochelle Olarenshaw are leading a comprehensive refurbishment program, thanks to funding from Life Saving Victoria and Victoria State Government’s Pick My Project – won by Brendan Smart and Adrian Koller.
20 June 2019
Glaziers are replacing various windows throughout the clubhouse
Window near Training Room at the end of the upstairs hallway (this could not be cleaned or salvaged – pitted by salt-air)
Ocean-facing window in the Bar Area - last one on the far-right, closest to bi-fold doors (as above – pitted by salt-air). This was the only one of these bank of windows that needed replacing - the rest just need to be cleaned; and in the case of the double-hung windows, serviced - which Taranto's are doing as part of their quote.
Window in the upstairs Men's Bathroom - this was not up to current building code for an upstairs area, so has been replaced with something that is (frosted for privacy).
