Cowes Classic Water Safety - Call Out!
We are still after a number of tube swimmers for the event so if you can help out at all please get in contact with Max!
Timings are as follows:
9.30am- Water Safety Briefing at Cowes Yacht Club for all Board Paddlers, Tube Swimmers and First Aid!
10.30am- Race Start for Little Penguin Dash (Only Board, Tube and First Aid required)
12pm- All IRBs and RWCs to be at Cowes Yacht Club for set up
1pm- All Water Safety Personnel and First Aid to be at Cowes Yacht Club for Cowes Classic Water Safety Briefing
2pm- Cowes Classic Race Start
After Event- Everyone helps pack up Water Safety and First Aid Gear

Attention all members! To celebrate the end of peak season, and the thank all those that have dedicated time to help in special events, the club invites you to a night of catered dinner service and live music at the clubhouse!
When: Sat 5th March 6:15pm - late (after Cowes classic)
Where: WBSLSC Clubhouse function room. (please enter the function room from the deck.)
DINNER:
Provided by Michelin Star chef Karyn Campbell.
Menu (1 plate per person)
Beef slider (small burger)
2x chicken skewers
2x garlic prawn skewers
potato salad
green salad
lentil/grain salad
fruit platter (dessert)
**Vegetarian/vegan slider and salad options available also.
LIVE MUSIC:
Travis Thompson (Local Phillip Island musician)
Will be playing pop and indie throughout the course of the night!
Bar opening at 6:15pm, dinner served at 7pm

International Women’s Day
International Women’s day falls on Tuesday March 8th this year.
