Terry routinely exceeds 100 hours contribution in a season and has even tipped 200 hours. 2019-2020 training calendar is looking stronger than ever. Terry is studying to be a paramedic, works as a professional lifeguard and referees state league basketball.
Read More20-year member Stafford was awarded the Order of Australia Medal on Queens Birthday, June 2019 for his service to lifesaving and education, running countless camps and events through Upwey High School resulting in hundreds of new club members and students learning the importance of beach safety.
Read MoreOne of our 2018-19 Club Vice Captains, Annie completed her Surf Rescue Certificate in 2013 and in 2015, her Bronze Medallion. Annie has taken on several leadership roles within the club and Life Saving Victoria. Annie is currently studying to become a nurse.

Read More35+ year member, and Life Member, Dennis was awarded the Order of Australia Medal in Australia Day Honours 2019. He has also named Bass Coast Shire Council Citizen Of The Year in 2013. Dennis has contributed fundraising, helped with San Remo Channel challenge and been club Vice President.
Read MoreHannah began her life saving journey in 2009. ‘From the moment I began I was instantly hooked, finding myself gaining more awards and taking on additional roles within my club.’ Hannah has been a Patrol Captain for the mighty Sandmen patrol and currently run the Woolamai Beach SLSC Bronze Camps. This year Hannah was lucky enough to take up the role of the Chief Lifeguard of Bass Coast.

Holly joined the club in 2012 as part of the Upwey High School Bronze Program, and has patrolled all but one season since. She is the Patrol Vice Captain of the Mighty Ducks and loves being able to work with everyone in her patrol and all the other folks at the Club.

In this 10 years, Tia has served as a First Aid Team Leader at our Special Events, Patrol Vice Captain, First Aid Officer and Patrol Mentor. Outside of Surf Life Saving Tia is an Occupational Therapist and is passionate about her work and this area of healthcare.
